This is the Circles GW initiative. There are 3 parts that connect or work together to create the initiative. Bridges is the first step where individuals of middle and upper income become aware of the hidden rules of poverty. Getting Ahead is for individuals living in poverty to help them become aware of resources that are available in the community, reflect on their own path and the factors that cause poverty. Circles matches individuals who have attended Bridges training (Allies) with graduates of Getting Ahead, who now attend Circles as Leaders to continue working on goals that the Leaders have identified.
